Hong kong Meat

Ingredients:  
Beef                                                        1/2 kg
Rice noodles                                         250 grams
Onion  (finely cut)                                 1
Cornflour                                               1 tbsp
White vinegar                                        3 tbsp
Brown sugar                                          1 tbsp
White pepper powder                          1/2 tsp 
Soya sauce                                             3 tbsp
French beans(cut into small pieces)  1/2 cup
Garlic (chopped)                                    2 tbsp
Black pepper  (crushed)                       1/2 tsp
Salt                                                           to taste
Oil                                                            5 tbsp
Spring onions and green-                    for garnishing 
chillies

Method:

  • Marinate beef with vinegar, brown sugar, white pepper, soya sauce, cornflour and salt; sat aside.
  • Heat oil in a pot; fry garlic and onion.
  • Add beef leaving behind the marinade, and fry.
  • Add water and cook till beef is tender.
  • Add black pepper, french beans and the marinade; mix and fry thoroughly. dish out.
  • Serve with noodles, green chillies and spring onion.
